In 1961 this casino opened as the Westward Ho Slot Arcade at 2910 Las Vegas Boulevard South next to Circus Circus. It changed to Westward Ho Casino in 1971 when table games were added.

Westward Ho opened in 1961 by the company Westward Ho and was designed by Marnell Corrao Associates with 744 rooms. Westward Ho is the only casino in Las Vegas with its own live radio station in the making.
