1993 - 3300 Las Vegas Boulevard South $430 M
1999 Remodel $65 M
2000 Sold to MGM $6.4 B (Includes Other Assets)
2004 Proposed $7.9 B Merger with Mandalay Resort Group

October 27, 1993 - Treasure Island opening with 2,891 rooms (this property was Mirage's parking lot) Treasure Island at the Mirage is a luxury hotel that offers a fun, whimsical Pirate theme. The staged battle in front of the Treasure Island always draws a crowd in the evenings. The Treasure Island is connected to The Mirage via a tram. Treasure Island at the Mirage spent $65 million to redesign all their 2,900 rooms in year 2001. Rooms are in a Y-shaped tower that rises from the pirate village. Guest rooms are luxury appointed, large and classically styled. The suites have a separate bedroom with a king-size bed in addition to their living room. All suites have two baths. High Speed Internet Access is available in a select number of the guestrooms. The high speed access is up to 130 times faster than a dial up modem and up to 4 times faster than T-1 leased lines. Treasure Island at the Mirage is located on southwest corner of Spring Mountain Road (Sands Avenue) and Las Vegas Blvd. just north of the Mirage.

Following a multi-year evolution, TI guests enjoy fashionable Four Diamond accommodations, an elegant lobby and a high-energy pool featuring luxurious new cabanas and exotic cocktails. Dynamic restaurants such as the popular Buccaneer Bay Restaurant overlooking the excitement of the Strip, the authentic Italian cuisine of Francesco’s and the superior steaks and fresh seafood selections at The Steak House delight diners. Nightlife abounds at recent additions Kahunaville – a tropical themed restaurant and bar, Breeze Bar – a sophisticated lounge in the heart of the casino action, and the resort’s hip new lounge Mist. One of the city’s best entertainment options can be found at TI. Cirque du Soleil’s Mystère features an international cast of dancers, singers, musicians, champion-caliber acrobats and a misguided clown.

The most famous of the resort’s icons, the pirate show, has been reimagined as The Sirens of TI. Created by award-winning director and choreographer Kenny Ortega, the production features a clash between a group of beautiful, tempting sirens and a band of renegade pirates.

Visitors will be awed by the music, dance, excitement and seduction in this modern musical-meets-action-movie spectacular. From daring swordplay to high-diving acrobatics and eye-popping pyrotechnics, the show is packed with countless thrills. But beware of the sirens, temptresses of the sea. Now, no man is safe in Sirens’ Cove. VIP viewing is available for hotel guests.
