Ode To Odin
by Teri Sharp
By the ring, by the spear, I summon you,
Great Odin, let your presence come through.
Master of madness, god of the spear,
Lord of the wolves, I call you near.
I hear your voice in the raven's call,
Your giant footsteps echoing down the hall.
You whisper my name in the rustling leaves,
In the icy winter wind blowing through the eaves.
O celestial wanderer, forever riding the skies,
I hear your voice in the howling wolf's cries.
Master of magic arts, fill me with inspirations;
God of pacts, bring me ecstasy & elation.
Come stand beside me and sing into me heart,
By the ring, by the spear, we unite, never to part. |
