1941 Opened 2500 Las Vegas Boulevard South
1947 Sold to Beldon Katleman and Additions
June 17th 1960 Burned Down - Now Vacant Lot

Thomas Hull, who owned hotels in California, purchased a tract of land on the dirt road known as Highway 91 (later the Strip) just south of the Las Vegas city limits. On April 3rd 1941 he opened El Rancho Vegas, a ranch-like complex with a casino, the Stage Door Steakhouse and Opera House Showroom. A neon-lighted windmill sat atop the casino for all to see. Hull sold the El Rancho Vegas in 1943 and it changed hands several times before Beldon Katleman bought it in 1947.

An early-morning fire destroyed El Rancho Vegas on June 17th 1960. It was never rebuilt.
